12 oz. HAEN ITALIAN SAUSAGE FOR PIZZA
1 medium onion, chopped
6 garlic cloves, minced
2 cans reduced sodium chicken broth
1 3/4 cups water
1 can (14oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 pkg. (9oz.) refrigerated cheese tortellini
6 oz. fresh spinach, chopped
3/4 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. pepper
shredded parmesan cheese

Methods/steps
1. Crumble sausage into Dutch oven and add onion.
2. Cook and stir over medium heat until meat is browned.
3. Add garlic; cook and stir 2 minutes longer.
4. Add broth, water, and tomatoes; bring to a boil.
5. Stir in tortellini; return to a boil.
6. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 5-8 minutes or until tortellini are tender.
7. Add spinach, basil, and pepper; cook 2-3 minutes more.
8. Serve with cheese if desired.
