Spaghetti With Turkey Meat Sauce

1 lb. HAEN SKINLESS GROUND TURKEY
1 lb. whole wheat spaghetti
2 T. extra virgin olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1 can (28oz.) diced tomatoes
1 tsp. crushed red pepper
1/4 cup chopped parsley
2 T. grated parmesan cheese
salt and pepper
1 lb. whole wheat spaghetti
2 T. extra virgin olive oil

1 can (28oz.) diced tomatoes
1 tsp. crushed red pepper
1/4 cup chopped parsley
2 T. grated parmesan cheese
salt and pepper
Methods/steps
1. Cook pasta al dente, according to package directions; drain, reserving 1 cup cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a large nonstick skillet; add the onion and cook until softened; add garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
3. Increase heat and crumble in turkey; season with salt and pepper and cook until browned.
4. Stir in tomatoes and red pepper and cook until thickened.
5. Stir in the parsley and cheese.
6. Toss the pasta with the sauce and the reserved cooking water.
7. Serve immediately; top with extra grated parmesan cheese if desired.
