Rest assured that quality is our top priority in processing your wild game! We have always and will always cut all whole deer in a separate area with separate equipment. You always get your own deer cuts back. We package all steaks and chops with plastic between them for freshness and in a high-quality, durable freezer paper or vacuum packaging. Your ground venison comes tubed in air-tight plastic to ensure freshness in your freezer for as long as possible. The Haen Meat Packing Staff
We do require processing fees paid in full at time of drop off for whole deer and there is $1.00 per pound deposit required for all in-store drop off.

Quality is our trademark at Haen Meat Packing...
- We use only fresh beef, pork, and spices.
- Our plant is state inspected and HACCP certified.
- Our equipment is washed and sanitized daily.
To be sure our end product is the quality you have come to expect from Haen Meat Packing, we must begin with a good product as well. All deer must be properly field dressed with all organs removed. Deer not properly field dressed could be subject to a cleaning charge.
All cut-up venison must be fresh/frozen, and clean. We reserve the right to refuse any venison that does not smell fresh, or is not cleaned properly. All cut-up venison must be transported in clean, food safe bags or containers. Please do not use black or brown garbage bags, non-food safe, or dirty containers to transport your venison.
We inspect all cut-up venison as it arrives. The venison is then inspected a second time by our sausage room personnel before any product is made. At Haen Meat Packing, we pride ourselves on making only top quality sausage for our customers, using our own family recipes that have won numerous National, State, and State Fair awards. Our updated equipment is designed to help us achieve this, however, this type of equipment does not allow us to keep batches separate. **Please note that weights on your order per sausage item are before pork or beef is added. For example, for every 10 pounds of venison you will receive 16 to 20 pounds of billable product depending on the item. This excludes jerky and dried venison. All sausage products are subject to weight loss from smoking.
